Riverhead Student Receives Long Island Scholar Artist Honour
Riverhead Loftier School Senior Riley Wendt was recently selected equally 1 of the recipients of the Long Island Scholar Artist Honour.
To be considered for the LI Scholar Creative person Honour, Riley had to submit All-State score reports and videos of all of his All-Land solo performances (a full of 5 perfect 100'due south). He as well had to consummate a thorough awarding form forth with an artistic resume and an essay explaining his involvement in the arts, and how it enriched his life.

Riverhead High School Names Tiptop 20 Students in Class of 2022
Riverhead Loftier School recently named the Top 20 students of the graduating Class of 2022. The students who make up the top 20 accept exhibited an outstanding delivery to educational excellence during their time at Riverhead High Schoolhouse.
"I am and then tremendously proud of these students," said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Augustine E. Tornatore. "Their dedication to academics truly shines through this great achievement."
Besides their tremendous bookish accolades, many of these students are too enrolled in a number of challenging Advanced Placement courses, compete every bit members of athletic teams, serve as members of clubs and perform in groups throughout the district.

Riverhead Central Schoolhouse Commune Honors Blue Waves Recognition and Appreciation Plan Recipients
The Riverhead Central School District recently recognized the February recipients of the Bluish Waves Recognition and Appreciation Plan.
The February honorees are Riverhead High School's Ms. Taylor, who was honored for her back up of teachers and staff in the special education section; art teacher Ms. Haupt from Riley Avenue Uncomplicated School, recognized for her power to assist students in creating incredible artwork and her work with the student quango; Phillips Artery Elementary School computer lab aide Ms. Donagher, honored for her assistance to students and staff solving technology issues and her calm and respectful mode; and security guard Mr. Crump, recognized for his positive, upbeat mental attitude and how he serves equally a role model for students.
To earn recognition through the monthly Blue Waves Recognition and Appreciation Program, staff members submit a form nominating a fellow colleague for their boggling work equally a staff member of the Riverhead Central Schoolhouse District.

Riverhead Loftier School Blueish Masques Preview Upcoming Musical to Simple Students

Riverhead High Schoolhouse Raises Money Through Empty Bowls Fundraiser
Riverhead High Schoolhouse ceramics classes and cooking club recently hosted the Empty Bowls fundraiser used to donate money to Maureen'south Haven Homeless Outreach, which provides a condom, warm temporary shelter to homeless individuals on the e end of Long Island, from November through March, utilizing volunteer houses of worship and congregation volunteers.
Selena Pagliarulo's ceramics classes provided the lovely crafted bowls, which were for buy. After the purchase, people were so given a ticket for soup, provided by Roberta MacGray and the cooking club. Some of the savory soup choices were loaded baked irish potato, minestrone, and cheddar and broccoli.
The delicious artisanal breadstuff was donated past Blue Duck Baker, and the issue raised $one,700 through the outstanding pupil and staff endeavour.
